Amazing Love Health services (ALHS) joins the Alzheimer’s Association from February 14-21, 2018, in celebrating the Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Education Week, to bring awareness to the importance of certified and trained staff. ALHS is committed to improving caregiver and care recipient outcomes. To ensure quality care delivery, our dedicated professionals improve their knowledge and skills, through regular training.

An estimated 5.5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia types. Alzheimer’s disease affects one in 10 older adults and is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. About 80-90% of persons with Alzheimer’s disease exhibit neuropsychiatric symptoms and disruptive behaviors, including anxiety, agitation, wandering, and aggression towards self and others. The behavioral symptoms of dementia interfere with activities and relationships, increasing the challenge of meeting the care needs for elderly with Alzheimer’s disease and dramatically impact the quality of life of the diseased persons and their caregivers. At ALHS, we offer diverse services including counseling, support groups, individual/family therapy, and education, to alleviate caregiver stress and enable caregivers to better cope with the demands of caring for a loved one diagnosed with dementia or any other mental health condition.
